Another database of the digital library
Due to the state of emergency in the country, the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia continues to open a digital library for open access to the Iverieli database, which has only been available in intranet form until now.
Another important part has been added to the bases that have been opened so far. In particular, 500 publications have been made available to the readers of the National Library in the form of a separate collection called the "Diaspora Library".
In the intranet part of the databases of the National Library, there are still publications on which copyright applies.
The National Library, despite the current situation, respects the rights of authors and publishers and does not place digital versions of their publications in the open section of the electronic database. If a publisher or author wants to open their own publication for open access, they must apply in writing to the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia.
