Introducing the Principles of American University Education in STEM Disciplines

The Millennium Challenge Corporation Georgia, in coordination with the University of San Diego, is implementing a project to introduce the principles of American university education in STEM disciplines, which includes:

• Conducting online lectures by scientists from the University of San Diego on the following topics: research methods, research process, publications, communications, use of scientific literature, research ethics and use of scientific resources, fundraising;

• An internship for doctoral students at San Diego State University, under which doctoral students will undergo doctoral research under the direct guidance of a faculty mentor at the University of San Diego.
