Training: Methods and mechanisms for monitoring the activities of the Government
Representatives of the Institute for Development of Freedom of Information conducted a training, organized by Faculty of Law of Tbilisi Humanitarian Teaching University, on "Methods and mechanisms for monitoring the activities of the Government", on Friday, December 13 at 2 pm. The information provided will enable students to deepen their ability to control government activities and detect / respond to possible misconduct in the public sector.
Topics were discussed at the meeting:
· How to detect suspicious circumstances in public procurement
· How to monitor government budget allocation and financial performance
· How to obtain official data from various government platforms
· How to request public information needed for government oversight
