Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University and Tbilisi Humanitarian University jointly submitted a grant project in the grant competition "Fundamental Studies on State Scientific Grants" announced by the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation. The topic of the grant project is: "Study of morphological and genetic diversity of apple and pear varieties in Adjara, their conservation in order to preserve the gene pool."
The main executors / researchers of the project are professors, scientists of Tbilisi Humanitarian University, Davit Dzneladze and Irine Kalandadze.
