Anniversary evening of Professor Otar Gamkrelidze

On March 20, 2022, the Union of Law Scholars and the Tinatin Tsereteli Institute of State and Law organized a jubilee evening dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Professor Otar Gamkrelidze, a co-founder of the Union of Law Scholars, a member of the Union of Law Scholars.

The event was held on a platform through Zoom.

The jubilee evening was attended by prominent figures of Georgian law, representatives of scientific organizations, universities, courts, legislative and executive authorities, as well as non-governmental organizations.

The event was led by Professor Mindia Ugrekhelidze.

The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Union of Legal Scholars Zurab Chkonia and congratulated Mr. Otar Gamkrelidze on his jubilee. Zurab Chkonia, who is also the editor-in-chief of the Union of Law Scholars, the international scientific journal Law Herald, said that the Union of Law Scholars plans to publish a special jubilee issue of the journal Law Herald, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Mr. Otar Gamkrelidze.

He also informed the attendees that the publisher is open to cooperation and welcomes any support regarding the publication of the anniversary norm. Mr. Otar Gamkrelidze was also congratulated on his jubilee by the Director of the Tinatin Tsereteli Institute of State and Law, Mr. Lasha Bregvadze, who spoke about the merits of Mr. Otar Gamkrelidze.

At the end, the jubilee expressed its gratitude to all the participants of the event.
