International Institute for Strategic Research (IISR), in collaboration with Georgian Young Reformers' Association (GYRA) and Tbilisi Humanitarian University, is launching a new initiative - Online Webinar Series on International Law.

The first webinar regarding international investment law, entitled "Between Black & White: Understanding International Investment Law and Arbitration" will be led by Agata Daszko on 27th April 2023, at 8:00 PM Central European Time (CET).

Agata Daszko is a Ph.D. Candidate and a Research Fellow at the University of Göttingen (Germany). She holds an LL.M. in Public International Law from Leiden University (Netherlands) and has previously worked as a researcher in investment and commercial arbitration at a large international law firm, where she was involved in various ISDS claims at all stages of proceedings. Agata Daszko is the Editor-in-Chief of the EFILA Blog (European Federation for Investment Law and Arbitration) and the Assistant General Editor of the Commentaries on World Trade Law. She is also a consultant at the OECD and an active member of several law societies, including the International Law Association (Young Scholar 2022), European Society of International Law, and Society of International Economic Law.

The webinar will be moderated by Director of International Institute for Strategic Research and Head of the International Law and International Relations Program at GYRA, Giorgi Chachkhiani.
