Annual Genocide Awareness Week
December 9 of each year marks the International Day of Remembrance for the Victims of Genocide, established by the United Nations around the world. In connection with the date, "Genocide, Holocaust and Armed Conflict Training Center" established by the Civic Education Center, will be held nationwide - "Genocide Awareness Week". As part of the Genocide Awareness Week, a public lecture - "Genocide: The Crime of Crimes" will be held for students of Tbilisi Humanitarian University on December 1. The lecture will be led by Bakar Matsaberidze, Head of the Genocide Holocaust and Armed Conflict Training Center, established by the Civic Education Center. Students attending the lecture will be awarded certificates.
